The 60's were unquestionably the
most popular decade during the autumn/winter 2014 shows. Here are some of the great
reasons to adopt this cool fashion. '60s style is not only classic, but
it's a trend that can work for any season: Mini skirts are forever chic, and
retro shift dresses are ultra-flattering on almost any body type. Peter
pan necklaces are cute and very feminine. Mismatched patterns have been a thing
for a while now and we all know how utterly cool they look.

The
message from every major fashion week is loud and clear: Amongst big trends
like plaid, fur, emerald green and minimalism, flats are making a huge
comeback. I reported earlier about kitten heels and comfortable shoes but
I definitely wasn't expecting high fashion brands to go even lower! In any case
I couldn't be more thrilled. Say hello to happy feet!

Pale
pink seems to be one of the most important colors of the moment. Pastel toned
socks, scarves, jewelry, shoes and skirts are some of the items commonly seen
on the streets and runways these days, but today I want to highlight the true
pink toned IT piece: A coat in the lightest tone of this color. Not only is
this a feminine and lady like hue but it goes well from day to night and can be
combined with almost every possible color. Find the perfect shape and give it
your cool twist. You'll be sure to stand out from the bunch!

F/W 2013 Über Trend: Plaid
One tiny glimpse at the fall/winter 2013 collections is enough to understand one thing: Grunge is one of the strongest most defining trends for next season. Now don't get me wrong, I still don't know what to make of this infamous Saint Laurent collection by Slimane. Nevertheless it was right on track just as Stella Mc Cartney, Celine, Givenchy and the others.

Box Clutches
Box clutches are having a major moment right now. Perspex is Charlotte Olympia's material of choice; Sara Battaglia used mirror to create her new pieces; Stella McCartney went for plastic and Lanvin opted for sophisticated metal. So many beautiful bags to choose from. Which one's your favorite?

Mullet Skirts
Loved by some, hated by others.. The controversial silhouette is back. Mullet skirts have been making the rounds on the streets and catwalks these days and I actually think this trend can be very cute if you know how to pull it off: Always wear high heels, your top should be tucked in, go for a silky fabric. Love it or hate it? I'm definitely on board.

Golden Touch
Fall/Winter 2012 has brought us plenty of trends to choose from. One of my all time favorites will continue to be GOLD. Baroque inspirations, ombre fabrics, ladylike metallic skirts or intricate embroideries were shown on the catwalks and will soon be in every store around you. Which has been your favorite trend so far?

Side Slits
By now, we're all familiar with the floor sweeping skirts that have been making appearances everywhere, but the new IT item is the side slit skirt. You may pair them with chic heels or every day booties for different effects, but do get yourself at least one of these.

Milan A/W 2011 In a Nutshell
I'm aware of the fact that it all just started in Milan, but you can already notice a lot of trends predominating: Green, red and oranges, sheer and flowing fabrics. LOVE IT! Can't wait to see the rest of the shows.
