To be honest,
I have never been a fan of low heels... The thing is, as I get older (and I'd
like to think: wiser), my priorities have shifted a little. Don't get me wrong,
I will always love to look taller, chicer and more sophisticated but I have to
admit that now, comfort is an issue. Surprisingly, designers have been thinking
about our well being lately. The new heels they have designed for us will take
you from day to night without losing your chic. Some of the most influential
ladies in fashion have already been sporting them around and I suggest you give
them a try.

So Far So Green
I told you about emerald green last season and I hope you jumped on the bandwagon because it is back again for pre fall in all of its gorgeous shades. Green is a beautiful vibrant color and this season, whether you like teal, army green, dark green, forest green or pine green, there will definitely be choices out there to meet your taste.

Not your Ordinary Skirt
The statement skirt is my obsession du jour. Love them when paired with a white shirt and the right attitude. Tip: Pick an unexpected hue or go for an unusual texture.

Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci: Couture
As Couture season in Paris kicks off with runway shows from designers like Dior and Chanel, Riccardo Tisci's collection for Givenchy stands out from the crowd impressively. The designer played with feminine-masculine silhouettes like tuxedo tail coats to flamenco inspired volumes on evening dresses. His influence came from all over, although at the beginning there were looks clearly reminiscent of the seventies like suede over the knee boots and layers of organza here and there. The collection was an amazing display of creativity and taste coming from a man who started making his way into couture grounds recently. Above are some of my favorite moments from the show.
