Fall/Winter Must Have

Black leather gloves, the longer the better. Delicate materials like napa, suede or silk are used in the elaboration this must have pieces. They're so soft you will completely forget you're wearing them!

We Love Soft Pastel Hues

Louis Vuitton, Versace, Burberry, Ralph Lauren, Chanel and Valentino's summer collections displayed an array of soft pastel hues to choose from. Pastel colors are a major trend to watch out for this season. You will definitely draw some attention by carrying this feminine and romantic yet subtle trend of the moment so if you don't already own some pieces in  these washed tones, go buy them now. For perfect results, pair with: Gray or nude.

Trend Report: Pajama Pants

Comfortable and chic, two words seldom used together in the fashion industry but in this case, they describe the style in an ideal way. I fell in love with this trend after seeing it in the streets of Paris, New York and Milan during the most recent fashion shows  so I have some tips to offer about the subject: I would suggest to wear them  with a plain top and flats to draw less attention, but if this is not an issue, pair with printed tops, textured jackets or blazers, wear in eye-catching colors and use towering heels. 

So Far So Green

I told you about emerald green last season and I hope you jumped on the bandwagon because it is back again for pre fall in all of its gorgeous shades.  Green is a beautiful vibrant color and this season, whether you like teal, army green, dark green, forest green or pine green, there will definitely be choices out there to meet your taste.

Pre Fall 2012: Red Orange

A notorious trend at the Pre Fall shows was without a doubt: Red-Orange. Designers went mad for the look and sent at least two models down the runway donning the the colors. Let's wait for the other shows and see who else adopts the trend. Do you love it yet?

Stylish girl Catalina Zuluaga strikes a pose while promoting her new pop up store called ZUBE. The shop is located in Bogota and will open its doors until December 24. Thirty four Colombian designers curated and selected by Catalina and her partner Natalie Berg currently present their unique collections at the store.  Don't miss it if you're in town!

The Chunky Knits you Need

Chunky knits,  cardi coats and knit jackets have come to our attention these days and are taking over the streets and closets; there's nothing cozier than one of these if you ask me. This season, they come in: abstract or graphic prints, cable knits, monochromatic, navajo inspired or striped. Take your pick!

Polka dots are big for F/W11, Marc Jacobs and Stella McCartney gave wings to this trend by showcasing it  in their fashion shows and in most of the  pieces from their collections. Weather you like your spots from head to toe or just as a small touch to an outfit, they should absolutely be a "must" in your hot list this season.  

Cameos

Cameo jewelry is definitely an important trend at the moment. Celebrities and editors are going nuts over modern day takes on these pieces. This type of jewelry originated in Greece and Rome but was mostly popularized during the Victorian era. There are lots of beautiful items to choose from in this post. Have fun!
