Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci: Couture
As Couture season in Paris kicks off with runway shows from designers like Dior and Chanel, Riccardo Tisci's collection for Givenchy stands out from the crowd impressively. The designer played with feminine-masculine silhouettes like tuxedo tail coats to flamenco inspired volumes on evening dresses. His influence came from all over, although at the beginning there were looks clearly reminiscent of the seventies like suede over the knee boots and layers of organza here and there. The collection was an amazing display of creativity and taste coming from a man who started making his way into couture grounds recently. Above are some of my favorite moments from the show.

Style Profile: Maria
Maria is from Russia, and she's always turning heads in Milan when she walks around. I love her structured coat and her trademark scarf wrapped around the neck.

Sara can wear a leather jacket paired with biker boots and leather tights and still manage to look feminine and sexy!

Spring Must Have: The Glitter Item
How about shining tons this spring? My advice: Absoulutely YES! Especially with Louboutin shoes or glittery nail polish! Have you made up your mind yet?

Montenapoleone, Milan
Over the top excessively elegant shoppers are my favorite. I love people who wake up in the morning and actually give their outfits some thought. Or there's those who just throw whatever they want on and still look amazing (but that's a hard category to fit into) The world needs more people who care about their appearance! This lady looks fantastic, especially compared to parka and leopard pants walking behind her...(can you spot her?)

Maxi Buttons
I had to follow this lady around for a while to get a nice shot of her shoes, which I though were picture worthy, just to end up with this picture...I hope they're clear (kind of at least)

Fur Capes
Fur capes are absolutely perfect. They're easy to put on and take off, they're classy and nothing keeps yo warmer than them! (Notice the cute little animal print flats.)

Eccentricity
It's always something I appreciate! Being different is priceless, having your own identity and playing by your own rules when it comes to fashion is the way to go! By the way Happy new Year! I have been taking it easy but have many more thoughts and pics to share with you as soon as I can!
