Add a splash of color to a sober outfit! Dare to buy a bag in an unusual tone... don't always opt for black or shades of brown because you think they are the only colors that go with everything, stop playing it safe, it's boring and unadventurous!

Great Choice
This is the right thing to do if you still want to wear your pretty summer clothes but feel a bit chilly: A thin coat in a light shade. A coat adds an extra touch of sophistication to the outfit. I personally am enjoying the current weather and still think it is way too hot for coats, but I see a lot of people who started wearing them!

Recession Chic
I met these ladies on the street and it was hard to get their attention away from their blackberries at first, but then... they let out their inner divas and were really working the camera! I have always wondered how Italian women make it through a whole day with shoes like these. Don't get me wrong I can't live without heels, but this ones were killers.

Cavalli Backstage (Shoe Fittings)
Models backstage at the Roberto Cavalli show trying on Edgardo Osorio's designs for the catwalk. The young shoe designer created this funky pieces to go with the collection and if you ask me, they exceeded any expectations! Note to self: If I can walk on those, get a pair ASAP.

Sonia Rykiel for H&M
Sonia Rykiel, the french red haired fashion icon will be fusing her talent with the Swedish giant H&M. She is the latest of a long line of international designers to collaborate with them, following the footsteps of: Stella Mc Cartney, Karl Lagerfeld, Roberto Cavalli, Comme des Garcons, Matthew Williamson and most recently Jimmy Choo, who's collection of shoes and accessories will be out by November 14. The collaboration with Rykiel consists of two lines, lingerie and knits. Lingerie to be out on December 5th and Knits by February next year. I will be waiting in line out in the cold for both! (And yes, I have done it before).
Ripped pants and an attitude
This picture I just had to share with you, I took it these afternoon and and since then have looked at it a thousand times... she was just so cool, so confident and sooo comfortable. I'm not a big fan of sneakers but she pulled those off like nobody else!
Coca Cola light/fashion week (via della Spiga, Milan)
In order to raise money for the affected by the earthquake in Abruzzo, Italy, Coca Cola asked some designers to collaborate with them by redesigning their famous bottle! Way to raise money in a fashionable way! Above: Fendi bottle

The Marni runway
Ok so maybe I didn't have one of the best seats in the house, but I did get to check out the collection and once again fall in love with Consuelo Castiglioni's clothes!
Decked out in Marni
Everybody is pairing socks and sandals, I must say I'm not crazy about this look... o.k maybe if you have very long legs...
